Event packages

Prepared event packages can have a second life.

A package can bring several event services together in one coordinated arrangement. When plans change — or a Vendor releases Late Availability — that prepared structure may become useful to someone planning a different event.

How it works

How canceled event package opportunities work

Event packages can combine a venue with catering, entertainment, photography, décor, accommodation or other services already coordinated around a date or event format.

If the original event changes, prepaid value and reserved services may remain. A new Buyer may be able to acquire that existing value and continue with the participating Vendors, subject to the actual contracts, scope and approvals.

Packages can also come directly from Late Availability, where a Venue or Vendor offers an existing package on an open date. In either case, the DealRoom provides a structured place to review what is included and what still needs to be agreed.

Business + personal events

Where this kind of opportunity can fit.

The original event does not always define the only future use. Any new use still depends on the actual scope, terms and Vendor approval.

Corporate dinners and company celebrations

Product launches and awards events

Charity galas and fundraising evenings

Milestone birthdays and anniversaries

Bar and bat mitzvah celebrations

Family parties, reunions and destination events

Questions

Packages FAQ

What is an event package opportunity?

It is a coordinated combination of event services that already exists for a date or event concept and may be continued by a new Buyer.

What can an event package include?

Depending on the listing, it may include a venue, catering, photography, entertainment, décor, accommodation, planning support or other services.

Can a package created for one event be used for another?

Potentially. A prepared arrangement can sometimes be re-contextualized for another business or personal event, but actual use depends on the scope, contracts and Vendor approval.

Where can the saving come from?

For cancellation-based opportunities, some value may already be prepaid. The Seller can ask less than that prepaid value, while remaining Vendor payments continue under the applicable terms.
