How canceled catering opportunities work
Catering is often contracted around a specific date, guest count, menu and service format. Deposits or scheduled payments can secure the team and production capacity well before the event.
When the original event changes, the transferable part of that arrangement may still hold value. A Buyer can review the existing scope and then work with the Caterer on whether it can continue for the new event.
Late Availability also gives catering businesses a way to make unused capacity visible while retaining control of menus, minimums, staffing and commercial terms.

What is a canceled catering opportunity?
It is a catering booking or prepaid catering value that may still be usable after the original event plans changed.
Does the same menu have to be used?
Not necessarily. Any menu, guest-count or service changes depend on what the Caterer is willing and able to provide under the applicable terms.
Can caterers offer Late Availability directly?
Yes. They can make newly open production or staffing capacity visible to Buyers planning an event.
Are remaining catering payments included in the Asking amount?
Not automatically. The Asking amount can relate to prepaid value acquired from the Seller; remaining Vendor payments follow the relevant terms.
